Pretty insane that #thousands of #scientists #publish a #paper every five days: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-0.. *That would be 73 #papers a year!* Apparently they are reaching this level of #productivity by working in large #team or managing lots of people. Still, if you did nothing but read papers, this would be quite a lot of work!

A #journal #paper I had been working on for a while did reasonably well in the #review process, so now to make the changes and #submit a final version for my #phd . This is actually really quite nice to finally be making some #progress after quite some time.

Sometimes you have a #shower #idea so good, you have to stop your shower just to write it down. This was one of those times. Two things I have been thinking about for a while just came together in my mind in an exciting way. If my hunch is correct, which I believe it is, it could mean *very* big things and an exceptional #paper ... I looked only and I could find zero #existingwork in this area... This could be quite a big idea if my hunch turns out to be correct.
