I have a #sideproject to build some #automotive #electronics ... Would be great to be able to #flash the #device #remotely from inside a #sealed unit, rather than take it apart to #reflash it. Also would be great to collect #data #remotely too.

I think I could be #convinced that #lvgl is the way to go for the #ui of the #linuxpda project: https://github.com/lvgl/lvgl 64kB of #flash and 16kB of #ram is quite reasonable.
I *really* like the #simplicity of this #elk #project https://github.com/cesanta/elk 20kB of #flash and as little as 100 bytes of #ram is pretty impressive for running #js ! I like how easy it is to #hook into the #clanguage and even #arduino #ide https://github.com/cesanta/elk/blob/mast.. In theory one could quite easily run multiple #apps at the same time if setup correctly! I *really* want to dig into this!

In this case a tonne of of important 9/11 #footage cannot be easily accessed as it is in #adobe #flash ... I imagine this *exact* problem for #javascript in the future once we move fully to #wasm ... It will simply be disabled due to #security . Long live #html though!

Seems to be massive #flash #flooding in the #uk 's #capital #london right now: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lo.. This follows days after much worse floods in #europe , specifically the likes of #germany ... Although under reported, #china is also facing floods that are suspected to have killed thousands of people so far. In the #advpodcast they speculated about a city's prosperity being indicated by their ability to handle #floods - luckily London predicts just 3-4 inches of flooding.
The last #theflash episode was pretty decent, with the #flash bringing back an old enemy to help him battle #godspeed (or #godofspeed - I swear there is recycling now). The latest enemy wasn't so great, he's essentially an angsty teenager. I'm glad they bought back #wells - but that dude is a meme these days with the number of times he was brought back now.
