An out of the blue #blog from #drewdevault https://drewdevault.com/2023/06/29/Burno.. I cannot speak to what he has gone through. But. You can't tell people to be be #critical of *very* serious claims made. You cannot tell people to not want a #codeofconduct for their own #project . You cannot tell people to believe in some #ideology because they #claim it harms them if you don't ( #lgbt ). There's very little #tolerance in his #viewpoint .

This is such a cool #homemade #rocket #project https://hackaday.com/2022/12/02/the-amat.. What is there not to love? One of these days! Would be pretty spicey to beat #nasa to another #planet for example.

A lot of interesting #projects #planned at #drewdevault 's #sourcehut https://sourcehut.org/blog/2022-11-15-fo.. My biggest #concern is whether he will eventually be able to release his grip on the #project without giving up on it. That will ultimately be the #challenge to expanding the project.

I'm not sure which #company these people work for, but it sounds #awful https://harthur.wordpress.com/2013/01/24.. You have your #colleagues calling you out for your #opensource #project in #public (knowingly?), then you publicly #shame them, then they #publicly a#pologise ? It just sounds like a #shitshow . I would steer clear of all of them.

Okay, the #tinytapeout #project is pretty cool, helping us get towards #opensource #silicon https://hackaday.com/2022/10/23/design-y.. I am really tempted to try and make a small #microcontroller in 100-200 #logic #gates , I'm sure something interesting can be done in this space!

#serenityos has reached 4 years old, it has both been a long time, and yet so much has been achieved in a small amount of time: https://serenityos.org/happy/4th/ This is an exceptionally cool #project .

I really love this #solar #flight #project https://hackaday.com/2022/09/27/24-hours.. Would be interesting to see if something similar could be done in the #uk ? #flight #restrictions kind of suck though...
