I think I could be #convinced that #lvgl is the way to go for the #ui of the #linuxpda project: https://github.com/lvgl/lvgl 64kB of #flash and 16kB of #ram is quite reasonable.

Man I really want one of these: https://shop.m5stack.com/products/m5pape.. It's a *very* #lowcost #eink #display with a little processing power. It could be a way to build my " #linuxpda " (although this thing will *never* run #linux ). I was also wondering about running #java on it, but it looks ultra complicated to get a small #jvm #ported ... It would cost $150 NZD delivered and I already don't #utilize my #pine #pinetab enough...

Seems like some progress is being made in creating a #linux #pda #device using #palmos https://pmig96.wordpress.com/2021/04/29/.. The #raspberrypi 4 is insanely overpowered for this task of course. Regarding my own #linuxpda project, I believe I will look at developing on the #pine #pinetab for now as it's finally in some workable state.

I found out last night after reading the #hardware #schematics that it will be incapable of handling #touchscreen #display #input https://coffeespace.org.uk/projects/linu.. That will be the very last #article that this #scaleway C1 instance will compile - sad times. Time to migrate! Later I will need to move to a new server, most likely over to #chicagovps https://www.chicagovps.net/ I think I will go with their $15 per year plan, 10GB disk space, 128MB RAM and 100GB bandwidth - should be enough!
