Just got my last #scaleway #bill for my C1 #instance - sad times. On the plus side, I'm spending now per *year* what I have been previously been spending every *two months* - massive savings. This #server *just about* is good enough for what I need.
Just finished writing a #coffeespace #article about a #linuxpda https://coffeespace.org.uk/projects/linu.. That will be the very last #article that this #scaleway C1 instance will compile - sad times. Time to migrate! Later I will need to move to a new server, most likely over to #chicagovps https://www.chicagovps.net/ I think I will go with their $15 per year plan, 10GB disk space, 128MB RAM and 100GB bandwidth - should be enough!

Long story short, the #server #script for building #coffeespace needed a workaround to support both versions. Until now, the webpages were not being build correctly...
Hmm, looks like the #scaleway #cloud centre has been caught selling #server #ssd 's on the side and got caught with their trousers down: https://blog.scaleway.com/incident-secur.. That would affect this server for example, if a similar incident would occur. I think in the future I will be looking for a cheaper provider anyway if I can't find a #baremetal solution at the same cost.
Ouch, the #coffeespace server is grinding to a halt. Seems like it will be time to move from #scaleway sooner than I thought.
