Very cool #debian #linux " #factory ", where you can #build #custom #linux #distributions with some simple #script https://gitlab.com/risserlabs/community/.. This is something that really tickles me, but unfortunately I know I will never get time for such a task.
The #chinese #economy slowly grinding to a halt, despite them suggesting otherwise: https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/chines.. #china 's #ccp cannot deny they have massive #economic issues internally. Their #export and #import numbers are dropping, their #factory workers are in #covid #lockdowns for largea amounts of time, and they have pissed off the #west in many ways - so that they look to #decentralise from #china .
Very good that #intel is now actively getting their #chip #factory #manufacturing #project underway: https://www.reuters.com/technology/intel.. It's very clear that having these things done in #china or #taiwan is going to be a *massive* #security #threat in the near future. It also adds to #shipping and ultimately #globalwarming issues to having it made so far away!
Currently listening to #javanewscast - a short #java #podcast - in which I am hearing about #random number #factory generators, it seems like Java is getting overly complicated. Now you can't even guarantee that *any* random number generator exists, especially if you want a specific implementation. #jfr or #jdk #flightrecorder seems like an interesting #debug #tool - but again it's pretty complicated. I'm starting to miss the original simplicity of Java...
