Wow, #tiny 11 is a #windows 11 #os #install that uses just 2GB of #ram and 8GB of #disk space: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/tiny11.. The crappy thing is that #windows #xp uses to use 64MB of #ram and a comparably small amount of #disk space. It is completely out of control.

I think I remember going through *exactly* this back with #xp . In the end it was easier to #disconnect the #computer from the #internet entirely.
Looks like #reactos has made some strides on becoming a viable #microsoft #windows #xp #alternative https://hackaday.com/2021/08/08/reactos-.. I've been following the ReactOS project for a *very long time* - I may even have some of the original source code on a CD sitting in #storage !
