The new #dune #movie was #visually really well put together, but #story wise was awful. It compresses two/three movies into one, missing a bunch of *really* important details that make it actually make sense. Probably the worst #sin is the loss of the #colonialism #context the #original Dune series had. There's just no #investment , no #loyalty . The #betrayals don't make sense because we never know of a deep understanding.

Of course, only if it's the #georgefloyd #statue ... If #defacing and destroying these things is #peaceful and #democratic when it's the likes of #churchill - I see nothing wrong here.
