I really wish #pine 's #pinephonepro was not so #expensive at $400 https://www.pine64.org/2022/01/11/pineph.. It looks like an amazing piece of #hardware ... I also really wish they would #embrace my #idea of #modular #hardware - it is after all what has made #desktop #computers so #robust and what made the #original #ibm #thinkpad #laptops so sought after.
Looks like #intel are now starting to #embrace the #chiplet #design #amd have been leading with for so long: https://www.eetimes.com/intel-brings-chi.. It was the right way to go all along, especially as #silicon #manufacturing is becoming less #reliable and #yields are much lower!
