#spiderman #nowayhome was not too bad of a #marvel #film as it turns out. Well worth a #watch - they bring back some #familiar #characters from the older Spiderman #films !

The #anime #donttoywithmemissnagatoro is pretty good if I don't say so: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_To.. I was quite impressed with the #art , the #story and #characters #developed well too. There was perhaps a little too much #fanservice in there, but perfectly serviceable as a whole.
I watched the new #matrix #film and I'm not impressed. It was essentially a #nostalgia trip, some #handwaiving about how certain things happened, they are #afraid to let #characters #die (unlike the #original films) - I don't think there was a single original #scene in the whole thing. There are infinitely better stories that could have been done, for example #neo #recursing through the #matrix #layers and #rebuilding #humanity . #trinity should have remained #dead - it was just too weird to bring her back.
#startrek #discovery has become a #political mess. You have " #trans " #characters , #gay #couples , #minorities , a #women only #leadership (I'm sure that will lead to a great #future of course), a common #threat they must all work together to tackle ( #covid ), a #black woman going around killing #starfleet " #officers " (a call back to #blm ) - I'm sure they won't find a way to #justify that... The #politics is clear. I don't even mind it - I just don't appreciate an #agenda pushed down my throat.
The latest #season 2 of #tigerking was pretty good, this time concentrating more on the #characters behind the #popular #series ... I.e. the #death of #carolebaskin 's #husband , #joeexotic 's #imprisonment , #murder #plots and many other things. Highly interesting. These people are for sure insane!
