Interesting, it appears as though #manga / #anime is bringing new #users to #pirate #torrent #websites https://torrentfreak.com/pirate-site-tra..

Very powerful #decentralised #distributed #torrent #demo https://boredcaveman.xyz/post/0x2_static.. Nice little breakdown, this idea has legs!

#peertube need to #fix their #rss #feeds - I get a #torrent link for example: https://diode.zone/static/torrents/e82e9.. But it's neither a #valid #torrent or even a valid #url ... What the hell? #peertube is just a little too "move fast and break things" for my liking...

I want to like #peertube as a #decentralised #youtube #alternative - but it's still too #heavy and not #compatible with other #torrent #clients https://framablog.org/2021/11/30/peertub.. You still can't easily help #seed a #webtorrent ...

I've seen this for a while now - the entirety of #twitch 's #sourcecode has been #leaked in a #confirmed #hack https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news.. A 125GB #torrent was posted to 4chan... Big ouch! #socialmedia is *not* having a great time right now!

Wow the #fanimatrix is now an 18 year old #torrent https://torrentfreak.com/the-worlds-olde.. It's a pretty good #fan made #shortfilm for the #matrix - made in #nz on a #budget of just $800 by some friends.

Interesting idea for a #lowresource small #ram #footprint #torrent #crawler and #searchegine https://github.com/sergiotapia/torrentin.. Seems to plug into some *very* big websites...

I'm in two minds about the #amazon #mesh https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2021/05/.. #amazonsidewalk should in general improve everybody's internet on average, but explaining to your #isp that you didn't #torrent movies on your #internet connection will become tougher. Also do you really trust Amazon not to sell your traffic data etc? I don't. And that adds to other problems, such as power usage and radio traffic. It's opt-out!
