That's something - the entire #google #language of *all* #machines on #campus - irrespective of #os - have switched to using #chinese as the #default language... There was some kind of #reset #workaround , but not even that worked when I went to #login to #gmail ... I've never quite seen a #bug like it. Perhaps the entire #infrastructure was #compromised ?

As others have pointed out, Java can be a bit screwy due to breaking support between versions 8 and 9. A lot of people are stuck using Java 8, like this #server is due to #string support.
