The main assets of the game are now completed!

Game assets.

The assets were commissioned via Fiverr and cost approximately £100 to make. In total there are 27 unique assets, some of which will be used in different ways in order to create further assets for the game.

The next task will be to create a player within the ship and to begin the task of laying out the main assets. This will take a while and will likely require some messing around to get correct. It will also be difficult to get the lighting correct.

After this, each asset with moving parts will need to be properly animated within the physics engine. Some assets will emit light as part of their animation, so we will begin to push up against the limits of the engine.

Next, the screens will need to have their display texture updated live in order to be able to be the main interface to the ship controls, and a key part of the game play.

I think those tasks will keep me busy for a while! Updates will be slow due to existing commitments!
