(20/11/2022 - now)The two of spades is a nod to my great grandfather, who liked to play ‘Egyptian rummy’, a version of the rummy game where all two’s are a wild-card for anything. My great grandfather was an inspiring character and for now I would like to spend some time acting in a way that he would be proud of. This is a reminder to act in a way that inspires others.

(03/03/2022 - 08/09/2022)This observation is in support of the Ukrainian people who are currently under attack by Russian forces 2. Irrespective of the validity of claims made by Russia’s President Putin against Ukraine, UN, NATO and EU involvement in Russia’s security, invasion of Ukraine is clearly not morally justifiable, especially as diplomatic options still exist. War should not be used as a tool for diplomacy.
