Honestly, I would rather a #plaque than the #removal or #defacing of #statues - as long as it is at least historically accurate: https://www.lotuseaters.com/statue-of-si.. It is #pandering to the #blm #mob - but the addition of something is far better than the removal of historical #statue inheritance. We can always remove the plaque at a later date when social attitudes swing wildly once more.
