Interesting #article on #hackaday about the #food #safety of 3D #printed #models https://hackaday.com/2022/09/05/food-saf.. Turns out that they are pretty close to #medical #grade ! I've always thought that their rating could be greatly #improved with some after-care of the #models anyway. The only real #concern is #micro #plastics and #leaking #chemicals into the #food .

#ukraine is apparently open to non- #nato #models , probably because NATO still do not except them for now: https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/u.. I also find it quite endearing that their #negotiators turn up in #casual #civilian #clothing - I guess being in #government #dress is a very #serious #security #concern .

Potentially something interesting here about using #random #data to #train #models https://www.unite.ai/training-computer-v.. We essentially actually did this for #xyolo https://arxiv.org/abs/1910.03159 The #input #weights were meant for a completely different #network - but we found they were #random enough that they actually served as an #accelerator for our #network !

Awesome #tool to #train #models from #csv files from the #commandline https://www.tangram.dev/ I think the simplicity of it is really a step in the right direction!
