#futurama is back, but the #comedy #writing is #lazy . All of the references are #modern and tied to the #us , whereas the old #series was #universal . It seems like the new #writers are not as good as the last #futurama team.
I am liking the #wednesday #netflix #tv #series , but the #socialjustice inserts are just too much. Can these #artists not #separate #politics from their #art ? That said, it is still a good #tv #series . #timburten 's hand is very clear in this, it's very well #produced and the #story is good. It reminds me of #lemonysnicket 's #aseriesofunfortunateevents (something I wish they would get the courage to actually finish).
Just finsihed the #magicalindex #anime #series again (up til the current), what an amazing #story . I still think that #accelerator has the best #story #arc , from #villain to #angel , amazing. I really hope they create more #episodes in the future.
I've been quite getting into the #vampireacademy #tv #series . The #budget appears #average , but it seems to be a good #balance between a #vampire #story and #royalty . Some of the #story is a little crap, but it is mostly interesting at least.
I have been #enjoying the #waroftheworlds #series from 2019 recently. I quite like the #idea of people #surviving an #apocalypse . The #science in it hasn't been insanely bad either, it seems reasonably well #researched and the #specialeffects have been reasonable.
Just watched the #obiwankenobi #tv #series , pretty not bad at all. A little " #powerful #women " in places, but otherwise well put together. It reflects quite well the #spirit of #starwars - hopefully #disney and #lucasfilms can continue doing this. Don't go all #marvel on us!

The #film #underwater is pretty good, it would be good to see more like it. Essentially #underwater #foreign #beings or #aliens , a little like the #cloverfield #series but #underwater . It has legs if they wanted to continue it from different #perspectives ...
#arcane has been an excellent #tv #series so far. It wasn't afraid to get its hands dirty, it gets #dark - the #story has #depth . I really hope they continue with this, everything about it is very well done.

The #film #deathnote #relight #visionsofgod was just a re-hash of the #tv #series which somebody on the outside could barely follow if they hadn't watched it. Disappointing really. There is still #lssuccessors - but I am not sure it will be any better.
#watching a new #apple #tv #series called #invasion , and interestingly there is a piece of the #story based in #afghanistan - which involves places now taken by the #taliban ... I bet it really does feel like an invasion out there now. The TV series is pretty good though, I have been getting into it. There is some #politics , but for now it seems reasonably well balanced, it's not forcing it down our throats.

The latest #season 2 of #tigerking was pretty good, this time concentrating more on the #characters behind the #popular #series ... I.e. the #death of #carolebaskin 's #husband , #joeexotic 's #imprisonment , #murder #plots and many other things. Highly interesting. These people are for sure insane!
