Just finishing #watching #netflix 's 2017 #deathnote , and it really doesn't do the #original #anime any #justice at all. The #original #anime was like a game of #chess being played out by #kira and L, but they completely #fail to capture this. It really should have been a #tv #series . It's really amazing that they messed up such a deep and interesting #ip .
I finished #watching the #anime #chainsawman the other day, it is excellent. A few things could be improved, such as the #simp #attitude , otherwise it's really well made. The biggest #complaint is that there were not more #episodes .
Pretty cool, #netflix in #japan are using #ai to #generate #anime #background #images https://mosfet.net/new-netflix-animated-.. You might think this reduces #jobs , but there is a massive #labour #shortage in the #animation #industry .
Just finsihed the #magicalindex #anime #series again (up til the current), what an amazing #story . I still think that #accelerator has the best #story #arc , from #villain to #angel , amazing. I really hope they create more #episodes in the future.

The #anime #overlord #season 4 has been pretty good so far, my only #complaint is that it is not nearly long enough. It should be 24 #episodes . I'm hoping in the future they can use #ai to reduce #production #costs and make more #content at higher #quality .

#gleipnir is a pretty interesting #anime , which I am still wrapping my head around. The main #idea is pretty #abstract and there is certainly a lot of missing #story now.
The #anime #kakegurui was pretty good. It's based on #gambling and is pretty #clever in places, I just wish they would go further with the #risks involved. For the #majority of #bets it turns out there is no real #risk , kind of ruining it a little.
Recently I was trying to find a new #anime to #watch ... I was looking for something as #smart as #steinsgate and can simply not find it. I did come up with a #concept for one based on #ai some time ago, but obviously lack the #talent , #funds and #time to see such a #project through. I also imagine that it takes the #fun out of #watching it if you #created it. On the plus side, there seem to be some cool #anime #series releasing soon...
