Holy shit, *all* #indian #internet #traffic is #monitored by their #government https://entrackr.com/2022/11/exclusive-i.. Worse still, when a site uses #cloudflare , the #government essentially sees #plaintext #http and can even #inject their own #content https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=335.. What's even more concerning is that other #governments are almost certainly also doing the same.

Interesting #ideas on #http #commands and #requests https://shkspr.mobi/blog/2022/09/some-ne.. #help for sure is required. #undo could theoretically be useful, but could also cause issues. I wasn't aware of #patch and #delete ! I wouldn't add #buy as I believe it would end up a #security #nightmare !
Definitely worth checking out the other #http #commands / #requests https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs..

Very interesting #authentication #method using pure #http without #cookies or #javascript ! https://saucecode.bar/posts/06-using-www.. Even #deadsocial uses a single #cookie ! I will need to check it out, but this is potentially extremely cool!

Very nice #crossplatform #browser for #http , #https , #gemini , #finger and #gopher https://github.com/MasterQ32/kristall Looking at the #makefile it uses #qmake , which I assume means that it uses #qt for the #gui - something I don't particularly like but understand.

#http 2 seems to be quite #insecure https://portswigger.net/research/http2 Whilst it was implemented with the 'best' of intentions, it still appears to have tonnes of flaws. HTTP/1.1 is still far more robust and usable for now.
