Interesting, apparently #china 's #ccp have #banned #strong #foreign #encryption #algorithms greater than 256 bits: https://sanctionsnews.bakermckenzie.com/.. Apparently they instead replace these with the likes of SM1, SM2, SM3, SM4, etc - which have possibly have a #backdoor in their #dualkey .
