Mandate all new structures be painted white (i.e. roofs, roads, etc) 3. Place large #metalrods and #metalgrids in places where ice is receding to allow it to form around it 4. Stop the #ev push and instead encourage people to use their cars for longer 5. Mandate all #shipping and #cruiseships convert to #electric within some timeframe - I can keep going...And so the *massive* push for #environment #climatechange begins: https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environ.. The #un 's #ipcc report is now going to be used to enforce massive changes to everybody's lives, despite the data being clear since the year 2000 - *now* is the time for this apparently. This is the ' #builbackbetter ' #agenda and #governments look to capitalise on a #decimated #economy and way of life.
Random #brainfart : The current state of #neuralnetworks is completely #inaccurate for how #neurons actually operate. We should rename them to 'neuron-inspired networks' (NIN). One of the largest issues for me is that each neuron's affect on the processing of information is *overweighted* - i.e. there is no local #spatial #redundancy built into the #network structure. I'm not devaluing the field (it clearly produces results) and I'm not suggesting there is a better approach, just that it's not there yet.
