I agree with #aardvark (again), this time on #chip shortages: https://aardvark.co.nz/daily/2021/0602.s.. I was hearing over a month ago of a 64 week lead time... I agree that during these times its important to do more with less. I feel like modern processors are actually plenty fast enough. For example, on a friend's #windows laptop, #chrome needs 2GB to open four simple tabs - what the actual fuck! Simply insanity.
