I was looking at this earlier today, due to a comment on #facebook https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfre.. It seems as though the #nhs is looking to "share" confidential patient data for 'research' purposes. It's *opt-out* and will be rolled out all over the #uk - it's quite likely this data will be mined and misused almost instantly.
