Huh, it never even occurred to me that a #modulo was an expensive #cpu #instruction https://lemire.me/blog/2016/06/27/a-fast.. I always thought of it as a cheap #operation - no wonder some of my programs were slower than I would like. Especially for #vision #processing and #neural #networks ... Hell, even #deadsocial likely uses more than its fair share! I actually want to do some tests on this!
