It's not about whether you agree with the current #government and want to give them the power to censor - it's whether those same powers should be given to *all* future governments, which is by extension what you are doing. Haha, my post on #hackernews regarding the #antivax #ad #propaganda by #fazze has been downvoted into oblivion, despite being entirely true. There is a massive gaping #assumption that needs to be made in order to assume #russia is behind the #misinformation campaign. Unfortunately HackerNews has a massive #us #leftwing #bias - and #democrats are more likely to believe Russia are their enemy, whereas the more #rightwing #republicans are more likely to believe it is #china ... People can't see beyond it.
