Very very interesting, it appears you can make a #harmonic #drive using a #rubber #belt https://hackaday.com/2022/10/31/3d-print.. The result is a #gearbox with very little #backlash at all. A few of these #stacked and you could get an ultra high #torque #motor !
Interesting, now I want to see more of this #magnetic #gearbox to #replace #gears https://hackaday.com/2022/10/08/magnetic.. It would be interesting to see if a high #torque version could be developed. Ideally a way to gear down a high speed #motor . Would need some #research .
