Interesting how the #us #democrats not longer want to talk about #inflation , after their #plan to keeping #printing #money has #failed https://www.zerohedge.com/political/watc.. It's as if you can't #print your way out of a #recession - who could have guessed! The only thing they have achieved is a #backdoor #tax for those that have #saved and for those #trading in #us #currency , a #mistake they will likely not make twice...

I really love this use of #string in a 3D #print https://hackaday.com/2022/09/20/3d-print.. It has got me wondering about what I could also build too.

Hah, the #us 's #biden #administration are looking to create a #us #dollar #crypto #coin https://apnews.com/article/cryptocurrenc.. This likely means they could #print more #money without the need to actually #print it. One could also imagine it would be useful for them to be able to #control people's #accounts . This of course is all about #tax and nothing else.

3D #printing is amazing, but it takes forever. I recently got a #new #printer from 2016/2017 and it's taking a really long time to #print a basic #model . The only good side is that it actually works and it was very #cheap . If it #dies after a few months of use, I can #justify getting some better to replace it. If the #novelty wears off after some time, there is no point.

Wow, 3D #print your own #filament to create #multicolored #filament https://hackaday.com/2022/07/06/3d-print.. Insanely #creative !

Very cool #video on #testing #rc #cars to #destruction https://hackaday.com/2022/04/05/rc-car-t.. Makes me want tom 3D #print one! Very cool #project !

Wait, what? The #us #government 's #answer to #inflation is to #print more #money and hand it out to #citizens ? https://www.zerohedge.com/personal-finan.. Have they officially gone #insane ? This is *exactly* how you get #hyperinflation ...

One day I too will have a 3D #printer ! And then I'll actually be able to #print stuff! https://jmtd.net/log/3d_print_list/ It's been unbelievably annoying to wait so long for the #buildone to *not* #deliver anything.

Interesting, turns out that so-called #ghostguns are getting more #popular with #criminals - where they can 3D #print them! https://www.latimes.com/california/story.. I didn't realize 3D #printing has come so far!

Cool #idea to directly 3D #print onto a #tshirt - but as people point out in the #hackaday #comments - it would be far better to create a #stencil https://hackaday.com/2021/10/15/3d-print.. Still, I like the thinking and with the right #filament it really could have legs. Imagine one with a dye impregnated into it for example!

Very cool #arduino #library to interact with #thermal #printers https://hackaday.com/2021/09/21/mini-wir.. I really want to use one of these, but just can't quite think of the #usecase ... Perhaps it could #print something #daily , like some #information #dump - or the results of a #simulation , or #server #performance , etc. Also could be used for printing a daily #todo list at the start of each day.

In an update I did to the #coffeespace #css the other day, it now has better #print output attempting #twocolumns - which looks nicer and saves on #ink and #paper !

Okay, this is cool: https://retrohacker.substack.com/p/bye-c.. You can apparently #print on port 9100 just by #piping files via #netcat - *without* the need for #cups ! I am trying to get this working now. I only stopped printing because I couldn't get the #refill to work and didn't want to spend more money on a $20 printer...
