Wow, this new #phone #supports #riscv https://tuxphones.com/risc-v-phone-rvpho.. The benefit over this on top of a #linux #pda type #device is that it also supports #vocal and #text #messages , instead of just #data . Interesting that they are using #espressif 's #esp 32 #wifi and #bluetooth #module for additional #connectivity .

Seems like some progress is being made in creating a #linux #pda #device using #palmos https://pmig96.wordpress.com/2021/04/29/.. The #raspberrypi 4 is insanely overpowered for this task of course. Regarding my own #linuxpda project, I believe I will look at developing on the #pine #pinetab for now as it's finally in some workable state.

I want to build out essentially what is a #wiphone - my hope was that #pine 's #pinecom would be this device, but I really suspect the only way to achieve this will be to build it myself after this #phd ...
