This is insane if true. Apparently the #fbi insisted on the #camera 's at #trump 's #home be switched off and the #lawyer to leave, and #refused to offer a #copy of the #search #warrant https://www.zerohedge.com/political/trum.. I don't believe the #fbi would #plant anything, but unfortunately they cannot even #prove they did gather #evidence from that #location due to how they #raided it.

Very good #article and #video on how *not* to #build your own #ar https://hackaday.com/2021/08/19/why-you-.. I would personally like to see a " #vr " setup with a #camera that does the #passthrough to the #display - this would ultimately solve the #optics problem. For AR to 'interact' with the real world anyway, you're going to want a camera to do processing.

Interesting observation by #aardvark that #china has not been able to penetrate the #camera #market https://aardvark.co.nz/daily/2021/0617.s.. I think in general they have really failed to enter the quality/complex market at all. Cameras have exceptional tolerances - something that cannot be easily replicated without quite some work.
